In 2016, I moved to Dartmoor, a place where I am continually inspired by the incredible sights each day brings. I love colour and light, patterns and textures, and the drama of wind, stormy skies, rain, rainbows, and ever-changing hues.

I started to draw again and gradually found my way back to painting, this time with acrylics. My focus has been on how light affects colour, which is fascinating. I am beginning to understand the many layers of colour that create the depth I seek. This is an ongoing exploration, and I am passionate about every step of the journey.

Currently, I enjoy drawing and painting with acrylics, creating landscapes, portraits, and still life and more recently I have been enjoying participating in speed drawing sessions, great fun!
