After spinal damage forced me to give up photography, I found myself looking for a new creative outlet. In 2024, I began exploring oil painting and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed it. Six months later, I started working with charcoal and graphite — and fell in love with the depth and control of drawing.

My work focuses mainly on photorealistic landscapes and seascapes, though a commission to draw a friend’s cats opened the door to animal and pet portraiture, which I now also enjoy.

Living on the edge of Bodmin Moor, surrounded by the Cornish countryside, I draw daily inspiration from the textures, light, and quiet presence of the landscape and its wildlife.
