Jordan Hendrie, is an emerging seascape artist based between Cornwall and Devon, working primarily in gouache and watercolour.

Her work reflects a lifelong love of the sea and the natural world. As a devoted thalassophile, she aims to create paintings that evoke calm, serenity, and a sense of connection to nature. Especially inspired by the changing moods of the ocean and the quiet beauty of coastal landscapes. You’ll often find me by the water, sketchbook or watercolours in hand.

She has always felt deeply connected to the ocean. That relationship shapes both her creative practice and way of life. Painting seascapes and tranquil landscapes allows her to reflect, breathe, and translate peaceful moments into something visual and lasting. Passionate about mindfulness and ocean conservation, believing art can be a gentle form of awareness and a way to hold space for ourselves, for the environment, and for stillness in a chaotic world.
