Post Event Summary

A short summary of the facts and figures for the Art Fair at Endsleigh. I have distributed cash payments that were taken and net card payments have been sent out, so if you believe I have missed something, or made any errors, please get back to me.
Given this was an experimental midweek show, I think it is fair to say this was fairly successful, we saw new and repeat visitors, which was good, and I our show at Endsleigh is beginning to get some traction in terms of audience. I think we are beginning to prove that the most effective forms of advertising are the ‘disposable’ leaflets (which can also be posters), online, and your personal contacts, getting out and spreading the word does help.
Visitor numbers:
Tuesday:    47
Wednesday: 29
Thursday:   60
Total:      136
Total Sales over the three days was just under £1800 (£1796)
In addition to the ‘supporting items’ cards, prints etc, significantly, 4 pieces of original artwork were sold, and I’m aware a couple of commissions are also being considered.
For those who did not sell major items, please take heart, showing art is not just about instant sales, people like to think and cogitate before making investment purchases, significantly there has been conversation, visitors select the artists cards they want to think about. In additional as artists building your portfolio of shows and exhibitions is always a good thing and over time adds value to your work.
This time we started a visitor book to start collecting contacts, but I think its worth noting some of the keywords in the comments:
Inspirational,
Interesting
Exciting
Variety

We’ve also attracted, potentially, a few more members into the bargain.
