Water and weather influence the work most: sea, estuary, river and tides. Gill has lived and worked there most of her life. These elements are in her blood and allow her to translate thought and concept into imagery. Fluidity and movement are paramount; no image stands still.

Gill has glass, paintings and drawings in the V&A, the Royal Collection and the National Glass Galleries of England, Denmark and Japan, as well as many private collections. Her work features in several books and videos.
